FAQs

  • 1. What is hypnotherapy, and how does it work?

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach that uses hypnosis to access your subconscious mind, helping you uncover and resolve underlying issues. It works by guiding you into a relaxed, focused state where you can make positive changes to thoughts, behaviours, or emotions.

  • 2. Do I need to pay upfront?

Yes, payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your session. This helps ensure your spot is secured and allows me to prepare for your session.

  • 3. What if I don’t want to use an online payment system?

If you prefer not to use an online payment system, please contact me directly. I’m happy to arrange alternative payment methods, such as bank transfers or in-person payment, where possible.

  • 4. What can hypnotherapy help with?

    Some common uses include:

Quitting smoking or vaping, managing weight and reducing cravings, overcoming stress, anxiety, or phobias, breaking habits like nail-biting, excessive phone use, or procrastination, releasing trauma or emotional blocks, improving confidence and self-esteem, enhancing motivation and focus

  • 5. Will I lose control during hypnosis?

No, you remain in control the entire time. Hypnosis is a natural state of focused relaxation, and you can choose to come out of it at any time. It’s a collaborative process where you are fully aware and engaged.

  • 6. What happens during a session?

Each session is tailored to your needs. I’ll begin by discussing your goals and any challenges you’d like to work on. Then, I’ll guide you into a relaxed state using hypnosis techniques. We’ll work together to address the root of the issue and create positive changes.

  • 7. How many sessions will I need?

This varies depending on the issue and your goals. Some clients experience significant changes after just one session, while others benefit from a series of sessions. For specific programs, such as quitting smoking or weight management, I offer structured multi-session plans.

  • 8. Is hypnotherapy safe?

Yes, hypnotherapy is a safe and non-invasive therapy. It’s a natural process that works with your mind and body to create positive changes. If you have any medical conditions, please let me know so we can ensure it’s the right approach for you.

  • 9. What does it feel like to be hypnotised?

Most people describe it as a deeply relaxing and calm experience, similar to daydreaming or being absorbed in a good book. You’ll feel aware and in control while being guided into a focused, relaxed state.
